When it came to form a New Year's Resolution this year, I decided to push my creativity and love of photography into a place where I could capture the innocence of human emotion and the beauty of natural environment. The purpose of this blog allows me a focus everyday whether it be, elegance, contrast, tranquility, or a hundred other qualities in what might be just an ordinary day. It should make for an extraordinary year.

Chinese Lantern Skeleton
This morning I cut the Chinese lanterns that I had grown for drying. Before cutting them I took a few minutes to photograph them. This is the first year since I started growing them that I have orange lanterns. Some of them are becoming skeletons and you can see the fruit inside.
