When it came to form a New Year's Resolution this year, I decided to push my creativity and love of photography into a place where I could capture the innocence of human emotion and the beauty of natural environment. The purpose of this blog allows me a focus everyday whether it be, elegance, contrast, tranquility, or a hundred other qualities in what might be just an ordinary day. It should make for an extraordinary year.

The Abstract Nature of Things
I really like the abstract nature of this photo. From the translucent, rice paper-like flower with the light green splines to the gauzy free form background colors...I'm often amazed by what I can capture with my camera. Pewaukee, WI
